Size and volume are the outstanding features of this chamber - 55 metres long and over 20 metres high at some points. This cathedral-like chamber contains a curious geological formation that gives it its name.
Giving free rein to your imagination, the formation looks like a dragon's head. The dragon will be the focal point of the story told by the guide. There is a greater variety and number of geological formations in this chamber than in Laminosin.
However, the size of the chamber means that they are difficult to see and so they don't seem so striking. The Guerrero and Intxixu s chambers lead off the Morada del Dragón but are not open to the public. They are quite difficult to reach as you have to abseil down to them.
